Everyone loves a parade! The Festival parade is even more special because it’s all about Vermont Maple! Fancy Floats, Marching Bands, Bag Pipers, Prancing Horse Teams, the Maple King and Queen and other triumphant Festival winners riding in convertibles, Zany Clowns, Scout Troops, shiny Fire Trucks, Tractors new and old, and much more - all make their way through St. Albans in the annual parade that is one and a half hours of crowd pleasing entertainment for youngsters and oldsters alike!
The parade begins
on Lake Street (On your Directions map it’s Route 36, a yellow road, west of Route 7) and travels east to Main Street (Route 7 on your map). On Main Street it travels north, past the reviewing stand (which is also the Entertainment Stage). When it reaches Lower Newton Street (the yellow road opposite Upper Newton Street on your map) the parade turns west and proceeds on Lower Newton Street to its conclusion.
