THE SPECIALTY FOOD & CRAFTS SHOW
RULES

Please check back soon for the 2009 schedule!

The Vermont Maple Festival is sponsoring its 7th Annual Specialty Food Show at City Hall, Main Street, St. Albans, VT.  Please read the rules and regulations very carefully.  Failure to adhere to them will result in immediate removal from the show without a refund, and future participation in exhibiting at Vermont Maple Festival, Inc. Specialty Food Shows will be prohibited.

The show dates and hours are as follows:

Friday, April 25      - 12:- 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, April 26  - 10:- 5:00 p.m.

Sunday, April 27     - 10:- 4:00 p.m.

Set-up time is Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

Again this year, City Hall will be set up with pipe- and – drape to improve our appearance. Space is $75.00 for an 8' x 6' space; this does NOT include your table (s).  You must attend all three days.  The spaces will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.  Confirmation will be sent in a timely manner after the application deadline; your check will be returned if there is no available space.  Payments will not be returned to the exhibitor for cancellations after March 31, 2008.  A $35.00 fee will be charged for checks returned back for any reason.

Proof of insurance (food products) must be provided with your application.

  1. Every participant is expected to be set up by the specified time and to stay until closing. Leaving early will forfeit your future participation.  Booth must be manned during show hours.

  2. We reserve the right to limit the number of exhibitors in each product category.

  3. A broad range of products may be sold, but maple cannot be sold in its pure form (maple syrup, maple sugar, maple candy), however, it can be used in conjunction with other “value added” products.

  4. Raffles are prohibited.

  5. No smoking is permitted in City Hall or in the handicap access or on the fire escape.

  6. Exhibitors must park in the far parking lot (paved) behind City Hall.

  7. Please leave aisles between exhibitor spaces clear.  Entering and exiting each space must be accomplished without relying on adjoining neighbor’s space.  Table must be covered and draped to the floor.

  8. If you are using electricity, you must supply your own extension cords and cover such cords with duct tape, if needed.  Only one plug-in per crafter.

  9. You will be responsible for cleaning up your area each day.

  10. The exhibitor waives all claims against the Vermont Maple Festival Inc, Specialty Food Show Committee, or and City Hall for any and all liability for damage, theft, injury, or loss incurred before, during or as a result of the Vermont Specialty Food Show.
